1 Turn ON Phone Hotspot
Enable Personal Hotspot on your phone with the following credentials:
Network: Bms Password: bmslocal
⚠️ Important: Only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. On iPhone, turn ON «Maximize Compatibility».
2 Plug into Car & Power ON
Insert the controller into your vehicle's OBD2 port (under the steering wheel) and power on the car (READY mode). The controller connects automatically in seconds.

🛡️ How does autonomy and updates work? ▼
• ⚡ Full autonomy: Controller is plugged into the vehicle and automatically regulates fan speed. A discharged or forgotten phone never affects battery cooling.
• 📲 Energy-efficient link: Phone battery is not drained by continuous data polling. Connection is only active when viewing battery temperature or changing network settings.
• 🔄 Support & updates: Both controller and mobile app are engineered with support for wireless updates.

• Ensure vehicle is in READY mode.
• Verify hotspot is ON: default network Bms (password bmslocal) or your custom network.
• On iPhone, turn ON «Maximize Compatibility» in Personal Hotspot settings.
• On Android, set Hotspot AP Band to 2.4 GHz.
🟡 IP address changed or moved adapter? ▼
Thanks to smart cloud discovery, the board automatically updates its IP when connecting to your hotspot. If you switched boards, tap «Switch / Reset Board» on the main screen.
⚙️ How to connect controller to custom/home Wi-Fi? ▼
Open Live Monitor while connected, navigate to Wi-Fi settings, enter your Wi-Fi SSID and password, and click save. The board will connect automatically!
❓ Changed phone or typo in Wi-Fi password? ▼
Turn off your phone hotspot for 15 seconds. If the controller cannot find the network, it opens emergency network Bms_Setup (password bmslocal) so you can enter new credentials.
🤖 Android Hotspot 2.4GHz Settings: ▼
In your Android phone settings ➔ Portable Hotspot / Tethering ➔ Set up hotspot, make sure AP Band is set to 2.4 GHz Band (not 5.0 GHz preferred).
